We rise early in the morning knowing this will be a fateful day. \u00a0Thaddeus presses a potion into the hand of each party member saying to drink it when we find the dragon. \u00a0It will help fortify you for the battle head.<\/p>\n

At the blacksmith shop, Roland is finishing the assembly of an 8 foot tall iron man with a ghost rock boiler. \u00a0It emits a scream as the boiler comes to life, the robot stands and looks at Roland for a command. \u00a0At this point there is a rumbling in the town, and the skies start to darken.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile back at the cabin we notice the weather is turning. \u00a0It is getting darker and cold. \u00a0Fossar notices a small girl right outside of the cabin. \u00a0She asks to see Maverick. \u00a0She introduces herself as Sally and says we helped her family when we first got into town. \u00a0She says she thinks we are heroes and she needs our help. \u00a0She says her mother is ill and the doctor is busy. \u00a0Thaddeus agrees to go with her. \u00a0Maverick goes as well.<\/p>\n

As we leave it feels like an earthquake. \u00a0We see a huge tendril burst out of the ground by the horses. \u00a0It grabs a horse and decapitates it. \u00a0The other horses runn oft (O Brother Where Art Thou), and three zombies appear from the hole the tentacle made.<\/p>\n

Jimmy flies out of the cabin and attacks a zombie. \u00a0He slays it with his tomahawks. \u00a0Maverick shoots the tentacle and it falls and shrinks back into the ground. \u00a0Thaddeus throws a potion that explodes and shakes the zombies. \u00a0Fossar engages them in lively conversation. \u00a0They respond that they are here to destroy, which the posse can’t understand but somehow Fossar can. \u00a0He attacks one of them and wounds it. \u00a0The zombie swings and misses. \u00a0The girl cowers in fear, and starts to ride away.<\/p>\n

Another tentacle and two more zombies appear. \u00a0We also hear the outhouse break apart. \u00a0Lucille jumps on a horse and get ready to ride. \u00a0Fossar kills one zombie but then his shovel flies out of his hand. \u00a0Jimmy kills the last zombie near the cabin, but we have more to deal with. \u00a0Maverick shoots the tentacle to the south and kills it. \u00a0The zombies close with him but they miss him. \u00a0Thaddeus shoots another.<\/p>\n

Maverick takes out the the remaining zombies. \u00a0We all jump on horses and ride for town, except for Lucille who rides north. \u00a0Before she leaves she gives a slip of paper to Maverick. We don\u2019t see her anymore.<\/p>\n

Once in town we goes to the girl\u2019s house and find her mother. \u00a0Thaddeus treats her with his medical knowledge. \u00a0Maverick goes to talk to the blacksmith and sees the automaton.<\/p>\n

At that moment, more tentacles and skeletons break out in the town. \u00a0Roland commands the automaton to attack with its buzzsaw and flamethrower. They attack and bind several party members. \u00a0Bat Masterson and the Russian engage but have no success. \u00a0Fossar dispatches a tentacle. \u00a0Jimmy tomahawks a zombie. \u00a0Thaddeus entangles a tentacle and zombie. \u00a0Maverick finishes off the tentacle and the zombie. \u00a0The party that is left regroups and talks. \u00a0Maverick and Thaddeus decide to head out of town and meet up with Lucille, who gave Maverick the location she was fleeing to, somewhere in Saskatchewan. Jimmy goes to assist the Dust Boys and they head out of town as well. Fossar heads to the mine alone.<\/p>\n

We see a plume of black smoke rising from the area that was Paradise Falls. The townspeople are never seen or heard from again. Fossar’s fate is unknown.<\/p>\n
