Fossar breaks into the room an says “What is happening?!”\u00a0 Everyone pauses for a moment and Charlotte just stares at us. \u00a0She starts move toward the door. \u00a0Thaddeus throws a sleep potion but she resists it. \u00a0Fossar swings at her and connects twice with the sharp side of his shovel and she is bleeding profusely from the head and neck, but still takes off running. \u00a0Maverick pushes her towards the corner and she falls down. \u00a0Magnus shoots her with a stun gun but she resists and still tries to get out the door. \u00a0Fossar knocks her down and she is bleeding out.<\/p>\n

We heal her and tie her up. \u00a0Lucille look at her and casts a spell. \u00a0She says that the spirit infecting her will need to be killed to free her from it. \u00a0If not she will die anyway.<\/p>\n

We leave her and head through the door she wanted to use. Lucille stays with Charlotte. \u00a0We open the door and see a dark room. \u00a0Jimmy goes in first followed by Fossar and Maverick. \u00a0We see a room with alcoves with 4 corpses in each. \u00a0The door slams shut and the the corpses sit up and start vomiting blood. \u00a0The blood rapidly rises up to our ankles and keeps going. \u00a0Magnus teleports us quickly back to where we came from.<\/p>\n

We head to the next door in the entry room. \u00a0It open onto stairs that go up. \u00a0We start heading up the stairs to another door. \u00a0It does not budge when we try to open it. \u00a0Magnus lights a stick of dynamite and we run back down to the entry room and close the first door. \u00a0 BANG! \u00a0We head back up the stairs, \u00a0and see a cruciform room. \u00a0In it are parts of zombies that are recollecting themselves and we see them forming larger zombies.<\/p>\n

Jimmy charges in and attacks two of the zombies. He swings but does no damage. \u00a0Fossar runs in and swings wildly. \u00a0He dismembers one of the zombies and wounds another. \u00a0The zombies attack and miss us. \u00a0Maverick charges into the room and shoots. \u00a0He drops one and hits another. \u00a0Magnus and Thaddeus step in the door and shoot, which evaporates another zombie. \u00a0Maverick drops the last zombie with three well placed shots.<\/p>\n

We search the rest of the room but there are just caskets and body parts. \u00a0There is a door on the far wall. \u00a0We blast this one open as well. \u00a0 \u00a0Beyond is a large room with pews and an altar. \u00a0The pews are full of zombies and there is a large worm towering over the altar.<\/p>\n

They attack us but miss. \u00a0Jimmy hits and wounds one. \u00a0Maverick drops that one and wounds another. \u00a0Fossar charges and wounds one of them, but his shovel breaks. \u00a0Thaddeus hits the worm with a potion. \u00a0Magnus also hits it with a fireball.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Fossar is shovel-less but still tries to kick the zombies. \u00a0Pointless much? \u00a0Maverick shoots two of them and wounds them. \u00a0Magnus launches another fireball. \u00a0It fries 3 of the zombies and wounds the worm. \u00a0They all swing at us, and miss. \u00a0The worm moves closer, and Tommy Hawk gets a surge of adrenaline. \u00a0The worm attacks Fossar with his tongue and drags him in closer. \u00a0 It also misses Thaddeus, who throws a potion back. \u00a0Jimmy dispatches one zombie and wounds another.<\/p>\n

Thaddeus throws a different potion (banish) and we see the orange energy get pulled out of the worm, and it is now making \u00a0a different sound. \u00a0Clearly whatever was motivating it was removed from the creature. \u00a0Fossar breaks out of the tendril and tries to pull its tongue out but fails to move it. \u00a0The remaining zombie attacks Jimmy but misses. \u00a0The worm strikes at Jimmy and wraps him in its other tongue. \u00a0Maverick hits it with a bolt, but again it seems unfazed. \u00a0Jimmy tackles the tongue and slices himself free. \u00a0Magnus blasts it with a shotgun.<\/p>\n

Maverick tries to deal with the devil and cast a spell, but it backfires on him and he has a headache. \u00a0He still shoots and hits it. \u00a0Fossar kicks it again in frustration, to no effect. \u00a0The worm bites Jimmy and gives hm a scar. \u00a0He attacks back and shakes the worm. \u00a0Angus misses.<\/p>\n

Jimmy and Thaddeus wound the worm. \u00a0It bites Fossar. \u00a0Everyone else misses.<\/p>\n

The worm and zombie attack and hit Maverick, but he magically ducks and evades the damage (thank you cards). \u00a0He shoots back and \u00a0wounds it, but it is still moving.<\/p>\n

The worm bites Jimmy and he falls down and is bleeding out. \u00a0Maverick finally puts the worm down. \u00a0We heal Jimmy, and find the strongbox on the dais. \u00a0We open it and see a lot of papers including the founding papers, 2 sets. \u00a0One set has Jenkins and Otto Strauss, and another that does not have Otto\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

We take the box and catch up to the people heading to Paradise \u00a0Falls. \u00a0We take the papers with us and head back to town.<\/p>\n
